Wholesaling, or Assignment of Contract is a tool that real estate investors at all levels of education and experience often utilize in their businesses. Wholesalers don't typically pay exorbitant amounts of earnest money, obtain financing to close the deal or swing a hammer. A Wholesaler's job is to find, negotiate and contract deals and sell those contracts to, typically, flippers, builders and landlords.
Does Wholesaling work in our current environment? High-priced housing, lengthy market times, elevated interest rates, inflation, recession and overall craziness? A very much changed, and still changing market? You bet it does! Many of us make our living wholesaling while many sellers are more inclined to sign with a Wholesaler because of the current environment. REIA Members continue to report six-figure assignment fees in some cases and a consistent volume of deals for others. Have we updated some of our strategies and tools to improve our outcomes? Certainly. Often. Real estate investing constantly evolves and what we are experiencing now is by no means an exception. Are we using a variety of marketing and deal sourcing means, some of which we didn't often use in the past? Absolutely.
Why do we believe that every residential, multi-family and commercial real estate investor should learn Wholesaling?
- As a means of learning many aspects of real estate investing, including often overlooked transactional details, more efficient means of finding deals and more, all with the benefit of another set of eyes - the buyer - prior to closing
- Wholesaling is a no-to-low-cost means of starting, to fund rehabs and holds and is typically utilized by new and experienced investors alike
- To grow a Wholesaling-only business
- To find profits in contracts that cannot be completed based on the time or financial demands of other projects

Q & A will be available throughout the class day and beyond.

REIA Classes are typically taught by REIA Business Members, local professionals who are experts in their fields, governmental agencies and local, active real estate investors.
No products or services will be sold.
Registration and Prepayment Deadlines
- Registration is now open! This class is available to REIA Members and Non-Members alike with registration required for all.
- Prepayment Required. Prepay the class fee using the link that will be provided to registrants by email. Payment links will be sent by email throughout the registration period though not necessarily on the same day that you register.
- Friday, October 24th. All class fees are due by this date, before we close for the day at 6 PM, for Members and Non-Members alike. No exceptions. Sorry, we do not accept payment at the class.
- Friday, October 24th. Registrations close at 5 PM.
- Friday, October 24th. Unpaid registrations will be cancelled and those on the waiting list will be notified of seating availability by email and/or phone in the order of registration.
- Saturday, October 25th. Class day! Doors open at 8 AM. The class will begin promptly at 9 AM. We look forward to seeing or meeting you!

This REIA Class is $99 for REIA Members; Guests are welcome and attend for $119. Registration is required for everyone. A payment link will be sent by email to those registered with an event fee due before the meeting as indicated in the Registration and Prepayment Deadlines section on this page. No exceptions can be made. Refunds are permitted up until 48 hours before the event start then all event fees are non-refundable.
