About our speaker
Lou Brown has served the real estate investing industry in many volunteer positions including past President and designated lifetime member of Georgia REIA, one of the nation's largest real estate investing associations, and founding President of National REIA.    He has long been regarded as an outstanding real estate investing educator in all fifty states, across Canada and ten foreign countries including Australia and New Zealand.  Lou has been quoted by the Wall Street Journal and Smart Money Magazine, and countless others, as an expert in real estate investing, managing and financing.  He is a current member of the National Apartment Association.
Lou began real estate investing when he was 19 years old.  He didn’t come from a wealthy family – far from it.  Lou was, according to Lou, “a skinny kid from nowhere [with] no real estate background, no contacts and no money to build a multi-million dollar business”.  He heeded the advice of a family friend to “accumulate property” and to this day continues on in real estate investing.  Over the last 30 + years, Lou has invested in single-family homes, apartments, hotels, developed subdivisions and built and renovated homes and apartments.  He has bought and sold in many ways, all giving him a wealth of knowledge to share and a proving ground for the most cutting edge concepts in the real estate investment industry today.  Lou is widely known as a creative financing genius with his deal structuring concepts.  Husband, Father, Author, Lecturer, Inventor, Investor, Builder, Designer and real estate expert are all descriptions of this exciting trainer.  In addition to continuing as an active real estate investor, Lou does private consulting, teaches seminars and has authored courses, books and audio CDs on how to make money and keep it.
